Wormwood, Artemisia absinthium ~ Highly aromatic, bitter, and cooling. It is dispersive and stimulates digestive secretions and motility. Historically, wormwood was used in the famous drink absinthe and also against parasites and malaria. It has since been researched widely and antiparasitic activity has been documented. In any case it should be used in low doses, and for a short term.
