Kaolin Clay

Kaolin clay is a soft, extremely gentle, white, fine powder clay that can be used in any skincare product as a natural detoxifier.  It is considered to be one of the gentlest clays. And with a high amount of silica, it's sure to keep your skin smooth without drying it out.  

This clay is extremely versatile and has many uses:

- For an acne treatment, try blending kaolin, bentonite, titanium dioxide, hazelnut oil, lavender essential oil and a small amount of tea tree essential oil. Apply to infected areas and allow to sit for 30 minutes or longer to help pull spots to the surface.

- Due to both its ability to pull excess sebum from your skin and the natural exfoliation properties, makes for an excellent addition to a hair and scalp cleansing routine. Try mixing kaolin clay, apple cider vinegar, argan oil and tea tree essential oil and using 1-3 times per week as a hair mask and scalp cleansing treatment.

- Add kaolin to any face mask, body wrap, foot treatment, soap bar, hair mask, acne spot treatment, or body scrub to add it's light tan/ gray color and aid in detoxifying effects.
