The Art of the Leaf: Understanding TGFOP & FOP

We believe in transparency, from the leaf to your cup. The prestigious grades of our teas signify the highest quality:

  • Flowery Orange Pekoe (F.O.P.) represents a high-quality whole leaf tea, made from the fine, tender first two leaves and a bud of the shoot. The "Flowery" grade denotes the presence of golden tips, a sign of slow growth and exquisite flavor.

  • Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe (T.G.F.O.P.) is the top grade, featuring an abundance of these golden tips. This abundance imparts a smoother, more complex character and a hint of natural sweetness to the cup.

This is an ultra-fine tea where precision and process give birth to a much-revered beverage.
