How to Bulk Refill at Kindred Vancouver

Here at the shop we have most of your household essentials without the added chemicals, artificial fragrances and fillers available to refill. We have bulk items from body care like shampoo, conditioner, tooth tabs and lotions as well as household products like soaps, detergents and cleaners to teas and herbs. 

So how does it work? We currently have three ways you can enjoy our bulk refill section! 

1.) Shop our pre-filled shelf

We have a ready-to-go section with jars that have been filled with product, weighed and priced. Ready to grab and go. This is also a great way to get a visual on cost/volume. 

2.) Bring your own container to refill 

Any container will work, you will just get the weight of it at the scale prior to filling. Then fill with what you need and bring it to us at the register. Our scales are already set to ounces, so you just note the number on it and then fill!

3.) Use one of our community donated jars

We have a selection of jars that have been donated by our community and are weighed and ready to be refilled. We are always taking jar donations, we ask that the jars are clean, free of strong odors, have the labels removed and a fitting lid.

Some things to know when filling from our bulk refillery are; we sell by weight (ounces) not volume. Everything sold by weight is in half ounce increments, so we recommend getting at least half an ounce because that is the minimum charge. 

All individual ingredients for our bulk products are listed on our website. Always free of parabens, phthalates and  synthetic fragrances.
