Expands in size and softens in water to work like a typical dish sponge, but without the icky plastic waste. Just rinse, squeeze excess water, and place in a dry place to allow water to drain in between uses. You can soak in vinegar, submerge in boiling water for 5 minutes, or microwave for 10 seconds to disinfect.
To use for the first time, place a sponge and a shallow dish of water and watch it expand. Voila! It's ready to use.
At the end of their life just chuck in the compost!
