Shrub Farm was born out of a love for bold flavors, sustainable practices, and the beautiful connection between land and sea. Founders Josh and Tomo’s journey began in Maui, where their passion for food and drink led them to discover the refreshing tang of a blueberry vinegar sparkler made by Tomo’s mother. Inspired by its balance of sweet and sour, they began crafting their own shrubs in 2016 and haven’t looked back since. 🌺
Now rooted in Bellingham, Washington, Shrub Farm combines the lush flavors of Hawaii with the vibrant bounty of the Pacific Northwest. Partnering with organic farms, they’ve created a collection of seven unique shrub flavors and a line of raw, 6% acidity apple cider vinegar under their Apple State Vinegar brand. Not only are these shrubs and vinegars packed with bold flavor, but they’re also crafted with a commitment to sustainability, giving back 6% of profits to support marine wildlife.
